Data protection

Springfield Nutraceuticals BV only collects, stores and processes personal data that is strictly necessary for the provision of our services, products and information. This personal data is also not kept longer than strictly necessary. Springfield Nutraceuticals BV considers the privacy of personal data of paramount importance. Your personal data will be stored and processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy statement explains how your personal data is collected, processed and stored.

Who is the controller of your personal data?

The Dutch company Springfield Nutraceuticals BV sells and distributes health products worldwide. Springfield Nutraceuticals BV is the controller of your personal data that you have actively provided. It is responsible for the processing and security in accordance with the GDPR.

Where is your personal data stored?

The personal data provided by you is stored within Springfield Nutraceuticals BV in the accounting system, our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), the Marketing Automation system and the website. This personal data is used for the services provided by Springfield Nutraceuticals BV.

If you are of the opinion that Springfield Nutraceuticals BV does not collect, manage or process your data correctly, you can submit a complaint to us. If this is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can submit your complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

General

The personal data of users that is collected, stored and processed in the context of the website and offered services and products, include stock data (including name and address of website users via login, and customers), contract data (including items ordered, names of sellers, payment information), usage data (including pages visited on the Springfield Nutraceuticals BV’s websites) and content data (for example, comments in the contact form).

“User” includes here all categories of persons influenced by data processing. These include, for example, business partners, consumers, customers, interested parties and other visitors to our websites.

Basis for data processing

Springfield Nutraceuticals processes personal data only in accordance with the relevant GDPR regulations.

What rights do you have?

a) Right of access
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data. Upon request, Springfield Nutraceuticals will inform you in writing, in accordance with applicable law, which of your personal data is stored. This includes the origin and the recipients of your data, as well as the purpose of the data processing.

b) Right to rectification
You have the right to have your data corrected in the case of inaccuracies.

c) Right to delete
You have the right to have your personal data removed at any time. On deletion of your personal data, the services can only be reinstated if you again proactively provide this data to Springfield Nutraceuticals. The right to delete does not apply in the following situations:

You have an unresolved case with our Customer Service department;
You have an uncompleted order that has not yet been (completely) shipped;
You have an outstanding debt to Springfield Nutraceuticals, regardless of the method of payment;
You are suspected of abusing Springfield Nutraceuticals services in the past four years or you have abused services in the past four years;
You have a payment debt that has been transferred to a debt collection agency;
You have a credit application that has been rejected in the past six months;
You have made a purchase so that we keep your data in accordance with the applicable accounting and tax regulations.

d) Data transmission right
You have the right to require the provision of the personal data provided to Springfield Nutraceuticals in a format that allows its transfer to another location or party.

e) Right of appeal to the Dutch Data Protection Authority
You have the option to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Protection of your personal data

Springfield Nutraceuticals has taken all the current state-of-the-art security measures to ensure that the GDPR regulations are adhered to and your personal data is carefully stored and processed. Your data is protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access.

Your personal data is protected in the following ways (excerpt):

a) Maintenance of the confidentiality of your personal data
In order to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data stored with Springfield Nutraceuticals, access and access control measures are in place.

b) Maintenance of the integrity of your personal data
In order to maintain the integrity of your personal data stored with Springfield Nutraceuticals, transmission and input control measures are in place.

c) Maintenance of the availability of your personal data
In order to maintain the availability of your personal data at Springfield Nutraceuticals, measures have been taken to monitor orders and availability.

The security measures used will be constantly improved in line with technological developments. Despite these precautions, due to the insecure nature of the internet, the security of your data transmission cannot be guaranteed. As a result, any transmission of data from you to the Springfield Nutraceuticals’ website is at your own risk.

Which personal data is stored?

Only personal data for which you have explicitly given permission will be collected, stored and processed by Springfield Nutraceuticals in accordance with the GDPR. This is, at most, the following personal data:

Gender
Organisation
Occupation
Professional association
Phone number
Address
Postal code
City/Municipality
Country

And any optional information provided, such as Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number and trade association.

Protection of minors

Persons under 16 years of age may not provide personal data without the consent of their legal guardians. Persons under the age of 16 may only provide personal data to Springfield Nutraceuticals with the express consent of the parent or guardian if they are at least 16 years of age or older.

This personal data is also processed in accordance with this privacy statement.

When you sign up for the Springfield Nutraceuticals digital newsletter, personal data is collected. This data will be used by Springfield Nutraceuticals for promotional purposes, provided you have expressly consented to it, as follows: “Yes, I want to receive the newsletter! I accept the privacy policy.”

Springfield Nutraceuticals uses Mailchimp to send the digital newsletter. Your e-mail address will only be added to the recipient list with your consent. This data is kept until you unsubscribe. Springfield Nutraceuticals has entered into a processor agreement with Mailchimp. This contains strict agreements about what they can keep. Springfield Nutraceuticals has not permitted Mailchimp to use the data obtained for other Mailchimp services and activities.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in the newsletter at any time. After unsubscribing, your e-mail address will be immediately removed from the newsletter mailing list and included in a blocking file to guarantee it is withdrawn.

Modifications to our privacy statement

Springfield Nutraceuticals reserves the right to amend our privacy statement to (continue to) comply with the current GDPR and/or other legal requirements. Changes to the product range or services can also be reason to amend the privacy statement. This could, for example, influence the introduction of new services. Your new visit to our website will then be subject to the new privacy statement.
