Omega 3
The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA (eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid) are to be regarded as essential fatty acids, because it has been found that the body cannot create these sufficiently.
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. DHA also contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function.
